You only have fear when...

You only have fear when you simultaneously believe in your mortality. While you would not necessarily do things that are risky to cause you to end your physical life experience, you also never intended your belief in mortality to allow fear to control your experience.

When you accept this concept more completely, you also develop more confidence to do the things you truly desire that cause your expansion. You will begin to not take everything so seriously. This is truly what is meant by a lightness of being. The light is your very own illumination of the true nature of your being. You intended to be the grand explorer of your own life experience.

Why Outdoor Education?

The children are in daily contact with the elements and are learning important skills that are foundational to a core understanding of what it means to be human. They are not discouraged by the cold or the wet, as long as they are properly dressed. They become comfortable getting muddy, observing insects, and interacting with farm animals. They begin to know the plants of the forest and the garden as they participate in growing and foraging food. Children learn to gather wood for fire, compost, make herbal teas and medicines, and build shelters in the forest. They witness bees pollinating flowers, dip beeswax candles, pick fruit from the trees, preserve food for winter, knead bread dough to bake in the cob oven, prepare wool from our sheep, gather eggs from the chickens, and make cheese or ice cream from fresh goat milk. These experiences cannot be matched in a classroom, as we are able to engage in the fundamental processes of life in a hands-on way.

Being mainly an art, and not a commercial trend, this kind of modern dance art attracts people all over the world by its deepness, simplicity and sincerity. Being not limited by cultural and national features, it arouses interest and brings together open-minded and open-hearted people which tend to be free and happy in their life activity, social development and dance. Universal and versatile character of Contact Improvisation, its simplicity and positive health impact attract not only artists, but everyone who likes dance, movement and communication with other people. Dance for pleasure, dance for health, dance full of art, of improvisation, of happiness and spontaneous play with space… These are just some of the words which define the essential of CI, its necessity and usefulness in any civilized and open society.
